Georgetown 378TS

We have made our decision to move up to the Class A world with a 2015 Forest River Georgetown 378ts from Chesaco RV in Maryland.

Does anyone have any comments good or bad about the Georgetown or Chesaco?

Thanks in Advance

  • rivercity22 , Thanks for the link, that was very helpful.

lryrob9301 , Thanks for the warning about Chesaco, it made us do a little more research on them.

Their Joppa location is close to us and has a better reputation than Gambril. As for their price, on the first visit they were definitely sticking to their price, then we went home and sent them quotes from other dealers, dealers who are on line and rarely give you much for trade ins, and on our second visit they did drop their price a little over 16%.

We will probably sign the deal with them in 2 days after our test drive.

Also, their reviews prior to 2012 were all poor, then two of the last 3 were excellent. They got a new service manager a couple years ago and he has change a lot in their service department.
  • I would think twice before buying anything from Chesaco. Tried to buy a Pheaton from them and they wanted $18,000 more than I paid for the exact same unit elsewhere and wouldn't budge off their price. Also based on these reviews their service is isn't very good either.

  • We love our 2012 357QS, so far no problems to speak off. Here's the Georgetown class A message board, lots of good information over there.
