We have a 2005 Georgie Boy Pursuit and we have had the same problem over the
past 8 years. Had it in the factory (Forest River) and they "fixed" the problem
for good. The shear pins have broken many times since and I have been able to
fix the problem. Finally began using roll pins instead of bolts and it seems
to work much better. Ordered a new part for the mechanism and will have the old
one replaced while we are snow-birding in Florida. The one currently in it
has a hole that is now "out of round" and I think this problem was caused by
some mobile repairman that fixed it the first time. Was able to get underneath
the MH and then sit up and have a clear view of the system. Wife taps the auto
switch until the holes are aligned and I tap in a roll pin. and everything works
fine. Just another day in full-timing!
