The Thor forum seems to me to be pointing fingers at Thor. Thor ought have the option to add solar and extra battery capacity.
One user there is running a generator for 14 hours a day to recharge the (measly) battery bank. He would be a prime candidate for added solar, and probably added capacity as well.
When my battery bank was new, I could run the absorption fridge for 24 hours and it demanded 5.7 kwh. That means I could have run a residential fridge for at least 4 days. I suspect that in summer time I would gather enough solar power to run the fridge--say from June to the end of September.
