I went from a 33' toyhauler 5th wheel to a class A gas a few years ago. I liked it, but it was definitely smaller than the 5th wheel. My class A only had about 35 gallons of fresh water, while my 5th wheel had 98 gallons on board which I liked way better. Now, i'm in a 38' holiday rambler DP and would never go back. Reason why I changed from the 5th wheel is because I kept blowing wheel bearings and tires, due to being overloaded with a couple ATV's and all my gear. The axles were right at their limit and just couldn't hold the weight.
