Over the past 30+ years we've been through a Class C, 2 travel Trailers,2 Class A's, 1-5th wheel, and 1 Truck Camper.
Hands down the 2 class A's (one of which we currently own) were the best for traveling and comfort while moving around and traveling to make miles. Once parked and left for a while (over 2 weeks) the 5th wheel was the most comfortable. This past fall we traded the 5ver for a new class A.
I never enjoyed driving the fifth wheel and having that large mass behind me attached to the truck. I was always a bit tense with it on the road and it was always slow traveling- especially in cities. But I did so love it when we got somewhere and set up for a good while leaving parked.
But now we are on the move quite a bit with our grown children, grandchildren and aging parents scattered about the country. So we're lovin the Class A and make pretty good time with good comfort.
