For me and my driving schedule it would be Nashville to Little Rock just to overnight. Then onto OK City to visit the National Museum and Memorial. It is very impressive and informative. You should visit during the day and then return in the evening.
Next stop Amarillo, TX and a visit to Palo Duro Canyon and, if you must, visit the world famous Big Texan for dinner. (South of the Border is also famous but why does anyone go there!)
That puts me less than 300 miles from Albuquerque making an easy drive in. Hopefully, you are going in October for the Ballon Fiesta but if you are you better make plans now as most of the RV parks are already booked!
