First time to drive any significant distance. Planning to visit Grand Canyon Railway Park staying a few days then proceeding from GC to Malibu Beach RV California in ONE DAY...Seems like a lot of mile...

Try hitting the riverside area around 10-11 am and it should be mostly easy cruising to malibu, avoid anytime after 3:00 til 7:30
Love this post. Hopefully, the poster is also willing to pay your speeding ticket! I would love to see that documentation that the CHP will not pull over anyone doing 10 MPH above the speed limit.
