I live about 40 miles south of there, but I'm not familiar with the developed campgrounds in the northern part of the county. What kind of campground are you looking for? How close to Green Bank?
This was a hard winter here and the snow has just recently melted, except at higher elevations where there is still plenty of the white stuff. Except for skiers, tourist season hasn't really started yet.
I expect that the National Forest CG's will open in about a week or 10 days. You could call the Forest Service office in Bartow to find out about them. 304-456-3335
For developed campgrounds, it may be best to call to see whether they are open yet.
Sorry I can't give more detailed info, but around here I go camping to go fishing, which means Forest Service campgrounds.
