This is going to be messy, but hey! you've got a problem and sometimes you gotta get messy to fix it. Since it sounds like you've tried to clean it out, I am assuming you are getting some of the fluid out of the tank albeit just a trickle. If that's the case, let the tank drain until it's pretty empty.
From the sink, pour boiling water, (at least 5 gallons) into the tank, then drive the coach around to mix things up, then drain again. You might have to do it several times.
Another thought is to remove the valve completely so you have room to work. Mine has a "Y", where the black tank empties from the left and the grey from the right. Removing both valves also removes the "Y" so there's lots more room to access either tank. With the Y removed you can reach into the grey tank and start pulling junk out. Pull out what you can, then run hot water into the tank from the sink to loosen what you can't reach. Water and gravity are your friends. There are some drain cleaners out there that you'll be tempted to use, but be careful as many of them will destroy any rubber it comes in contact with.
Finally, do you use Downy or liquid fabric softener when using the washer? If so, that's your problem. It settles to the bottom and hardens. Nasty stuff....IMHO you should never use the liquid.....good luck, and keep us posted....Dennis
Dennis, I wish it was that easy. (sigh) My grey drain is a 1.5 inch pipe. From the valve, the pipe rises 6 inches into a 90 degree elbow and then goes back at least 2 feet to the tank. No way to "reach in" anywhere. Driving it around sounds like the best option, that's where I was headed to next if the enzyme stuff fails. I'll let you all know what happens.
Thanks!!
