I understand Bill, but my tank is FULL. If I put pressure into the discharge pipe, it backs up into my shower. NO ROOM...
Something dosent add up here.
If you can push it back into the shower,it should drain the other way too.
Have you tried a drain snake or even maybe a coat hanger to prove the valve is open?
Measure it along the outside and see if you can push it past the measured distance.
I still think the valve is closed.
Not sure what doesn't add up, it's probably just my explanation. The valve works fine, it's only 6 inches to the valve, and I shoved almost 10 feet of hose up the pipe so that should demonstrate the valve is open. I did use a plumbing snake, ran that up 15 feet from outside and from inside using the shower drain. I snaked for over 20 minutes and didn't penetrate whatever it was that was blocking the tank. When I used pressurized water on the FULL tank, from the outside it just pushed it up into the shower and wouldn't drain back out. When I tried using pressure from inside, into the shower drain, it bubbled back into the kitchen sink. Pressure did not work, period.
So, I called the Pros from Dover. More to follow....
