I'm battery shopping as we speak. What I need is a Marine Starting Battery for the MerCruiser (Chevy 350/5.7K) in our boat. The Fullriver battery Phil linked has different terminals than what I'm seeing offered elsewhere. The ones I'm seeing have basically two sets of terminals. One is lead posts like a car battery and the other is a pair of threaded studs. Note that in the Lead/Acid type, these "two sets of terminals" 1. Deep Cycle (like Trolling Motor or RV House), 2. Starting (car battery with marine terminals), and 3. Dual Purpose (a Starting Battery you can discharge deeper than most Starting Batteries...or is it a Deep Cycle Battery you can Start with...). All I need for the boat is a Starting Battery. Could use Automotive with adapter terminals, but I just got 7 years out of a 1-year warranted marine start battery from Sam's Club, so I'll go that way again.
