We bought a 2004, 21 ft, 213 B+ Trail-Lite in 2012. We had been through the plant in Warsaw when they were in business in spring 2002. We felt at the time it was a much better built RV than the Phoenix Cruiser, when we went through their plant in Bristol IN at that time. Never took a Gulfstream tour.
Things that I would change about the 213 are:
I have added:
In 2013 we stored our Phaeton and took the B+ to Alaska on a 11,700 mile 79 day trip, great time. But we were glad to be back home to the Phaeton's queen bed. If we were to update the B+ it will be to a 25' with permanent bed.
Things that I would change about the 213 are:
- Move the battery location from beneath the floor
- Larger of grey water tank
- More 120v outlets
- Larger bathroom sink
- A higher location of fresh water gravity fill
- Add a black tank rinse.
I have added:
- A black tank rinse
- Second house battery
- Both house batteries now are AGM type, so maintenance isn't needed as often
- 800W inverter
- Shore power management system
- Electric heating element to water heater
- Sirius radio
- Tire pressure monitoring system
- Fantastic Fan in living area
- Changed out TV for LED flat screen.
