Which year 6341 are you looking at?
My 2004 6340 was very close to rear axle load with full fresh water tank. That was without any trailer attached. I have the 19.5K chassis. Tires were the limiting factor. Later models of the 6340/1 had 245 tires instead of the 225 tires.
I have towed 7,000 with no problems even with the 225 tires.
The ALFA is a orphaned manufacture. There were lots of problems with delamination of side walls. They also had problems with their electronics. If the model you are looking at has the above items fixed. It may be a better choice than the GS.
Many dealers tend to over price the Kodiak chassis motorhome. Use NADANADA low retail as good starting price. Even that may to too high.
