Gulfstream Yellowstone

I know I have another thread about a tiffin that I really like but a local dealer phoned me today and said they just took in a 2008 Gulfstream Yellowstone on the Ford chassis. Doing the research it seems as if it was their higher end of coaches but I found that they no longer produce motorhomes. Should that be a major concern? Does anyone have any experience with this brand? It is a bit on the high side of mileage 49000 but I have been told that being driven isn't as bad as just sitting around?
  • Between a Tiffin and a GulfStream...hands down a Tiffin..no contest...the support you get from Tiffin vs GulfStream is night and day...

    Agree completely....Dennis
  • Newer orphan coaches really are not a problem. Other than the cabinets and front/rear caps there is very little the end builder makes in their production facilities. Just about everything you can find from the same suppliers the builders used. Head lights, tail lights, fridge, tank sensors, leveling jacks, TV, furnace, air conditioner, water heater all made by someone else. Now if we're talking about a 25 year old coach everything changes.

But that said I would take the Tiffin unless the Gulfstream is heavily discounted.
  • We've owned 9 RV's. By far Tiffin has been the best. Thor was by far the worst. Even if you aren't the original owner, Tiffin will help you. During 2008 when many companies went belly up, Tiffin held steady.
