I looked at most of the video but never saw the fella that was narrating it offer to help the guy with the flat. For all we know he was pulling his rig out of the parking lot to get away from the camera.
Some years ago I was in a KOA in OR in my TT after a long days drive. I was sitting in my lounge chair sipping a cool brew when this older gentlemen was desperately trying to back his TT into the spot next to mine. It was on the tight side. His wife was yelling at the poor soul and more more frustrated he got the worse his rig was out of position. This was way before cell days, but I could have sat their chuckling and video recording the poor fella I guess. But I walked over and asked him if I could back his TT into his spot for him. He was grinning from ear to ear, and afterwards I let him know that it wasn't him but just a tight spot to get into.
My point is that its easy to judge this poor soul as we sit at our computer, and no matter how it boils down, he needed some help.
I think this situation was way beyond the OP helping. From the video, it was hard for the 'video guy' to catch up as he was apparently driving a fairly large truck.
Once stopped, the OP pointed out to the ole guy that he must have left the truck in park. The guy just let it be. You can't help people who don't want to be helped.
Really, if you see that you have just chewed up a tire and then you decide to drive off, that is just crazy.
