GVWR & Towing

By the numbers, NO, you CAN'T tow your vehicle. You only have 1,500 lbs. of available towing capacity.
But I echo tinmac, DO NOT buy this vehicle if it in fact is that overloaded. 2,500 pounds over the GVWR from the factory is just asking for trouble.
Our 2004 36' dual slide motorhome is on a 22,000 lb. GVWR chassis with a 26,000 lb. GCWR. Empty, it weighs in about 18,800. Fully loaded with people, water, food, clothes & stuff we're between 21,000-21,500 lbs. That leaves just enough for us to tow our Honda Odyssey (4,460 lbs.) and remain under all weight limits.
That rig should never have been built, if the numbers you posted are factual. Run away!
