Years ago a friend was RVing in Florida and stopped by the beach in the afternoon to stroll the beach and have lunch. They parked in a public area with other cars about. When they returned with only their swim suits, towels, lunch cooler and keys the MH was gone. Stolen! No wallet, no ID,...the police officer who took the report put them up in his house for the evening until AMX offices opened the next day and a credit card and cash could be issued.
The rig was found later totaled. The purchased another and enjoyed many years of RVing together.
