Is always a good idea to have a inventory of contents. I keep a full checklist that we use for packing and a photo inventory. Both stored separate from the RV. We lost a house in a hurricane that I had a photo inventory for. The photos helped define $118k worth of contents. They only pay you for what you list and claim. I know it won't be that big a claim on the RV but why leave any $$$ on the table.
