I didn't know that. In preparation for this change I contacted truck salesperson today and he found a used 2x4 that he said I can tow 4 down. I'll look into it more. Thanks.
Maybe some 2 x 4 years, with a manual transmission.
Either way, read the manual and don't rely on a salesman's word. If you do, have them put it in writing as well.
There's a dingy towing guide available online as well that they take from the the owner's manuals or so it seems. Even at that, some have been led astray, so try and find someone who has what you're looking at, if there's any question at all.
