Thanks for all help and suggestions. The "tailgate" part is on the side of the RV and not on the rear of the unit. Presently our local service tech is in the process of calling the tech in Forest City for advice. This is the 2nd time we have taken the unit in for this bulging issue. Oh, the joy of RV ownership...:-)
