- CrusinSusanExplorerWell, just watch out for expedition portal; it sucks you in! Another fab site.
- stan909Explorerthanks for the link.I will save it for my project.
- CrusinSusanExplorerApology accepted. And see post right above yours. I always post what I find (when I can find it.)
FWIW, the RT aspect is, IMO, a different lift experience than for a simple dodge van...got a genny hanging out the butt, water tanks, etc. So that's why Sportsmobile won't be helpful to me.
I certainly am not a candidate for "not wanting to look elsewhere".
Nuf' said on the personal stuff I think. - stan909ExplorerPlease accept my deepest and humble apologies.I did not notice the date.I still recommend Sportsmobile forums.I will change your grade to a B+ (class C,inside joke inspired by endless debates here) because you didn't want to check other sources.BTW.I would like to raise my van also and as I understand it,this should also be coupled with a locking differential. This is discussed at the Sportsmobile forums.I also wish to put forth a word of defense for the members here.Tis the season for travel.Hope you find your answers and please share them when you do.Gracias, Stan

And good ol; expedition portal:

Finally. Not sure how helpful it will be, but it's a start. Posting for others information. - CrusinSusanExplorerYep, thanks AZ, been there (and everywhere I could think of) and that's not a dodge lift. Can't find a Dodge that's been done...though I do know a place that will do a dodge lift (not sure how they feel about RTs though). But I wouldn't even consider getting it done until I learn from another what they went through.

Nobody? Really? Seriously?
And here I thought you all did *everything* I could think of!! ;P
Oh, and PS to anyone who wants to send me to another b forum....no one there seems to have done it on a Dodge either.
Maybe I'll just have my mechanic (who is familiar with roadtreks) do a bit of tweeking...springs, blistens, maybe an airbag.
But really folks...I'm soooo disappointed in you! I expected so much more.
(Stomps off in a huff a' la teacher who's just given an F to an A student) :W
Try this link, it's a long thread so you will have to do some reading. Remember it's still a Class B and rough roads can cause a lot of damage to elect. systems, appliances, etc.

As far as I know, that thread is only about Chevies. Whether you can lift a Dodge would depend on what front springs were available. Air bags for the rear are available, IIRC. - Arizona_KidExplorer

Susan, go over to Marco's "Class B forum", and you will find a couple of people who did it. - CrusinSusanExplorer

Really!! ,Really!!!! . You expect an answer in less than 2 hours. I'm giving you an F in patience, but just in case you are really interested and not just stirring things up,then go to Sportsmobile forum (yes. A different forum) . They deal in off road and dirt roads all the time. Best of luck.
Well, I have to take you to the academic judiciary committee for the "F", because it's been 2 days, not 2 hours.
And I have to say, you're the first person to ever imply I might be a "stirrer". Yeesh, just trying to give a two-day old question a bump.
I'm looking for people who've done this to dodge roadtreks; not just a dodge; so I don't think Sportsmobile will be too helpful, but I'll check it out. (Just in case you're not trying to stir things up.)
