Has anyone used Tech Shine ?

I recently stumbled across a product called Tech Shine. It is supposedly a coating that outshines and outlasts wax and makes water bead . Claims like that always make me suspicious. I searched the web and could not find any reviews of this product.

Has anyone on here used this product ? If so, what were your results ?
  • hope your right i just bought some online, 150.00 a gallon hope it does well! will keep you posted it the website is accurate will work fine!
  • I hired a professional detailer about 3 years ago to clay bar over spray on my bus he intriduced me to TECH-SHINE, it all I use now. I keep it on my Caddy CTS V which I show every once in a while and the wife's car and the bus.......all have impeccable finishes. I used exclusively Maguire’s Professional products, but now I only use Meguires for polishing / compounding damaged surfaces and TECH-SHINE for day to day maintenance. TECH-SHINE has been developed and used for years in boat racing and high end Air Craft exteriors.........It great stuff give it a try!
  • I always have done my home work. like asking a repair man what brands he works on the most and then buying something else. call a detailer and ask them what they use.
  • Sounds a bit like Ice, which I like very much for ease of application, shine, and durability.
  • I have a cupboard full of products I've tried. There is only one way to keep your coach shiney.....wax, wax and wax again. There are no secret products.

Of all the ones I've tried, it seems the shine lasted the longest with NuFinish. I wax three to four times a year. I know most don't and many can't because of physical challenges, but that's the only way to keep them looking nice.

Here are a couple of things I do. I'm now one of those who is getting older and everything hurts. I use a rolling mechanic's chair (available cheap at Harbor Freight) to wax the lower half of my unit, which gets the most abuse. I roll down one side and wax what I can reach while sitting down (height wise). Once I'm done, I roll back and wipe off.

Almost every trip, I hit the front Diamond Shield/3M with either Pledge, 303 or a paste wax. This keeps it clean and easy to clean when we hit bug infested areas.
  • For years I was a huge fan of Mother's wax, that is until I tried Nu Finish. It's touted as a polish but it is actually a coating and like it says, it will last for a year if not much, much longer. I use it on my Durango and MH and have yet to have a single water spot!
  • Sounds like a version of PolyGlow or Zep floor polish that is widly available
