Back in (can it be so long ago) the late '90s, my wife and I helped our daughter move from Akron to the UP for her PhD. She'd rented a 24 foot U-Haul truck and a car-hauler trailer to take her car. She and my wife drove our van and I got the task of driving the Big Truck & Trailer.
In the Lower Peninsula on the interstate, traffic was pretty heavy and I was tooling along in the right lane when this guy came down an entrance ramp. There being cars on my left, I had nowhere to go, while the guy on the entrance ramp slowed down to match in beside me, pacing me the length of the ramp before having no choice but to stop at the end. Next thing I know, he's roared up on my left, gesticulating, giving me the finger, and mouthing all manner of invective my way. He paced me for several miles, clearly in a frenzy, then roared ahead, swerved in front of me and jumped on the brakes with both feet.
There was no way I was going to attempt to stop that truck/trailer, but fortunately he got back on the go peddle, although I wasn't exactly happy about the 3 or 4 feet the gap shrank to before he was off and running again. I estimate he topped the next hill well over 100.
He was driving a company car with their 800 number splashed across the back.
