HAVASU BALLOON FESTIVAL

It's a lot different if you go up in a balloon but seeing them take off from the ground is exciting too. The view from above is great. Google the festival website for more info. The weather can be hit and miss so check the weekly forecast before you commit to driving. High winds are not your friend for the duration of the festival. There are lots of free BLM camp sites close to LHC if you are so inclined but the city fills up fast. Full service RV sites are available but you may be a little late in trying to find one now. If you like fire works the "Western Winter Blast 2018" is worth staying around for if you have time. This year its mid February. (4 nights of free fireworks) Havasu is a great winter playground if you have off road toys. In the winter, the water is a little cold if you are a boater. I've been going there for years so if you have any specific questions post them below.
