I installed this pump a few weeks ago to replace a shurflo extreme that had failed and was discontinued.
When first installed, it was VERY lound. It also didn't shut off, kept clicking over slowly unless I flipped the switch to off and then back on.
After some time in actual use (3 days boondocking) it is now quiet as a church, shuts off when the rated pressure is reached, and does indeed provide "home-like" pressure in the shower and at the faucets.
It's only been 3 weeks, talk to me again in a year, but so far "highly recommended" and both better and quieter than the shurflo extreme 5.7 I replaced.
