Just a comment where RV water pumps are concerned......
When leaving our RV we always turn the water pump off. Also we never leave our coach directly connected to the campground. We always turn it off at the campground hydrant. You never know when the campground water pressure will surge to high pressures and affect your coach. We also have a water pressure gauge (in between our hose and the campground hydrant) and it is set between 40 and 45lbs of pressure. Recently, at a San Antonio campground we stay in had water pressure of 75 lbs. The campground host said at night it gets even higher. When we walked the campground, there was no rv without a water pressure regulator hooked to their camper.
Happy travels.
