Lucy, I had my gasket totally replaced around 2008 in a Winnebago shop for $800.00 I did not have the tools or the shop to replace it myself and it was raining hard and water was leaking inside the coach so I had to get it done ASAP. One winter night it was raining hard the rain stopped and the cleared up outside and froze out. I didn't know that I had a small pool of water on my slide out awning topper that was frozen. I retracted my bedroom slide out and the frozen water was like sharp glass and cut into the top of my gasket. The next day it started raining again and I discovered the leak and the RV Shop made me a top priority and fixed it when I arrived. Good Luck to you!
