Headers vs oem manifolds
So we are new to this forum and to the motorhome world also. I'm having to replace the heads on our ford 460 and seriously considering a banks exhaust instead of the oem manifold which I suspect trash...

You are doing the right thing, by going with Banks. Their system is engineered specifically for RV use, using the best products.
I installed Banks on my 454 Chev, and it was everything they said and more! More power, ran cooler and much better drivability throughout the entire power band.
