- Romer1ExplorerDaytime running lights
- btcruzerExplorerYes, my Chevy does that. But this Fleetwood is a Ford and built in 03, didn't think Ford was doing that back then. Not a problem , but this is a 'new to us' MH and I'm still checking out all the little quirks and oddities, and verifying things.
- ScottGNomadThe computers of vehicles can have the country code altered so that they come on where required by law. Your may be set to Canada or Mexico.
I wanted my DRL's to work so my country code was changed to Mexico. This caused no other changes to the truck. - MountainAir05Explorer IIMy 99 does it .
- Colo_NativeExplorerMy 08 Fleetwood has daytime running lites
- btcruzerExplorerOkay then. Just didn't want to chase a non-problem. There are so many things that can get hosed up on MHs or previous owners modifications. Thanks.
- antsinmypantsExplorerwatch them as someone turns switch on and off they get brighter
- sch911ExplorerOur 2003 F53 Ford does that also.
- doxiemom11Explorer IIOur 2000 Ford Chassis has the daytime running lights. Have to manually switch to headlights though, it doesn't have the sensor like the GM cars to to automatically turn headlights on when it's getting dark. There are no taillights on during the day with daylight running lights. Can you tell if you have lit taillights?
- BTPO1ExplorerMy 2003 F53 also has DRL's, but I have put a switch in to turn them off. I always use them when traveling for safety. But if I get to a CG after dark I don't want my lights blinding whoever is in front of me as I park, so off they go. JMO
