Amazing all the off topic responses, I already know that the hose is more expensive. That is not what I want to know. What I want to know is if anyone has any experience with this type of hose? Good or bad.
Yep. It did not appear to work in a Green Bay winter so I returned it. I purchased a Conrad instead.
It passed the Green Bay winter test. However, the only time I was tempted to use it this year was this October in Show Low, AZ when the night temps fell to the 20s.
Instead, before the temps fell, I just filled my fresh water tank, and disconnected the water hose. Then I used my furnace to heat my basement compartments at night.
So I'm actually thinking about ditching the Conrad because it takes up storage space & I now have another cold weather water strategy.
