Heated fresh water hose

I bought a Pirit hose a year ago. It was in service continuously over the past winter and worked perfectly. I pulled it out for the start of cold weather this season and it appears to have failed. My hose froze overnight this week.

I'm going to go buy heated tape and hose insulation this time.
