You can try the out the door price but the Cruise America here would not dicker at all but they would try to sell you one older or with more miles to get to the price you want to pay.
I did it with another company and it worked out very well.
Ex Rentals are mostly a good deal but make sure you get the service record so you know how and when it was serviced. A lot of people are satisfied with them as you can see in the Clicky in my signature.
