Do a bunch of caparison shopping from your computer...Craigslist, Fraserview RV Rentals, O'Conner RV Sales..just get an idea of what your dollars will buy and go from there as to whether the price is fair or not.
No matter what, tho, you need an inspection done by qualified techs. It'll cost you $100.00 an hour and figure 2 maybe 3 hours. Best money you'll spend because if they find rot...you do not want to be buying anything with rot.
I have dealt lots with an RV outfit in Burnaby..Travco. I'd recommend them in a heartbeat. Kevin and Rod...really know their stuff.
I have nothing against rentals..both mine were. But..I am thinking the one you are looking at doesn't have an awning. That's 2 grand. Plus if you need new tires..another 1,500. These things are big dollars to buy and can be a killer on the mtce side of things. Be really careful what you are getting.
Two months ago I would have said shop in the US. The prices are so much better, but with our dollar in the toilet, no longer a good bet.

thanks for recommending a inspection shop, I looked into a few shops and didn't know which one is reputable.
When do I I bring up independent inspection with the dealer? and if the inspection found parts needing to be replaced. i should negotiate with the dealer for them to fix anything to working condition?
