I learned about the slides in my own driveway as just before a trip the original LCI motor with the famous China seal bit the dust and my slides were out...ended up with the electric drill and allen wrench turning a solenoid..but the fluid was already in the motor..LCI sent a pump and paid a tech 3 hours to install ....now the new motor now 2 yrs old....just blew the two O rings from the motor into the solenoids...Pump O rings were 5 bucks...tech was 2 hours but covered by Prism...cost me my 100 deductible..but the O rings went on a trip to NJ and we were dripping fluid all the way to Delaware..thought I would lose all fluid and alarms would start and slides would creep...fortunately that did not happen...Yes I have the books etc on how and a drill etc in the toolkit but I never want to have to use it again.
