Help needed 2015 Forester 3171 dead (anti theft activated)

Yes, I didn't think it was chipped because of its size, but in the end the Ford service guy confirmed it isn't chipped (unless he is mistaken, which I suppose at this point he could be).

They also bought the in motion satellite and that didn't work while they are driving (supposed to), but that is probably a different issue.

That makes two votes for possible isolator. A few votes for computer. (What is an isolator?)
