The park cable connection is has a different OHM value and will even get hot if you use it because you are transmitting signals via Amperage to the antenna to tune it. You must have the same Coax from receiver to antenna to get it to work. Make sense?
Most coax including some mixture of types and various lengths will work OK for some signals. I agree it's best to have the correct consistent coax and connectors, etc but not always necessary.
