Mine quit just a few week ago ?.. push it in while someone gathers the fabric neatly inside the cover .. I used large (2ft ) zip ties I carry one in the front .. Slide behind the front 4-5 inches in and the same in the rear.
The whole unit does SLIDE off. On mine there was two screws that kept it from sliding .. And of course the wiring
When I looked it up these units gearing fail regularly ! On my case the repair guy said it was a electric problem ( not enough amperage to run in but unough to run out ) I don't know but it works now so I won't argue ??
