- EffyExplorer IISame here. MM is good people.
- Executive45Explorer IIIDunno John, you haven't seen Mr. Mark's. :W Designed by his bride.
Most of the Prevost, Marathons etc I've seen are entertainer coaches, and rightly so. Built like tanks, designed to run thousands of miles each year, yet have some creature comforts. Most we've seen are designed for the 'eat out often' crowd, of which we are not. Salesman tried to sell us one that had ORANGE alligator seats. Another had the dining table that lit up when you put plates on it. A little over the top for us everyday living folks. Now Mr.Mark's I'm sure was designed after his Dynasty with earth colors and subdued quality. and yes, I'd be honored to have him park next to me....:B....Dennis - Johno02ExplorerWe had a Millenium pull in next to us at Trailer Village in Grand Canyon. Nice folks, but considering the circumstances that DW and the other lady talked about, I wouldn't trade with them. Although all the outside lights were a bit much, but that is why we have window shades. And our site was better than theirs. Had another encounter with one when we first started travelling, and wouldn't have traded our ittle 30' hurricane for his Prevost and situation either. Really haven't seen one yet that we would trade with.
- IvylogExplorer IIIBecause you DID have a Dynasty I'll park next to you... Also I like your posts on here. :B :B :B
- Kayteg1Explorer III met hundreds of this forum members and have yet to find one that would not leave good memories.
Coming to comparing no AC houses. In my new house we sit inside without turning AC on. Thanks to good insulation the lower floor never reach 80F with 104F outside.
Beside that my wife would sit on the phone for 2hr talking to a friend who lives 15 minutes away. I would drive there with 6-pack or bottle of wine.
I guess sitting on the house porch is getting new dimensions as well. - rgatijnet1Explorer IIIThreads like this usually do go sideways when jealousy rears it's ugly head. :)
- Mr_Mark1ExplorerThanks, rgatijnet1. That thread did get a little wonky.
I really enjoy camping and meeting new people. I've said this before, camping in today's time, is like stepping back into the 1950's/1960's. People didn't have air conditioning in a lot of homes then so they sat on their porches as most of the old bungalow houses had them on the front.
That's what RV parks are like, people sitting out visiting and talking to people. Having a pet is a real ice breaker too! We are the 1% of people who don't have one.
MM.
