There are kits as mentioned earlier for HID. This is considered as a modification and could be deemed illegal. The rule, at least in Canada, is that HID lights must be self levelling and also have cleaning sprinklers (off the windshield washer fluid). Where I live all BMW, Mercedes, Audi’s, Infinity’s have them 95% of the time, they are expensive and it is truly night and day with regular Halogen lights. I love them on my car.
This being said I would also love them on my RV but would not do it. Here is why. I converted my motorcycle (BMW R1150RT) with HID, it involved drilling a 1 inch hole for the special connections in the back of the headlight. The big difference on my motorcycle is that the HID bulb (or the former halogen bulb) is hidden behind a reversed reflector thus when driving I am not exposing the on-coming traffic to a direct expose to HID. Also the front is all made out of glass not plastic.
On my RV I have headlights out of a Ford Explorer that do not have the reversed reflector and would probably melt and catch fire due to the heat.
My solution to you is make sure the headlights are like new, verify the voltage (as mentioned by others) change the light bulbs to the best ones and replace them every 2 years. Also make sure the headlights are properly adjusted.
