I too have a 2011 HRV 30sfs and the slide is as you stated at retract position. Sooooooo apparently its a manufactoring defect(problem). Had the unit looked at by RV techs....they said if its not leaking don't touch it. Have made an appointment at another repair shop to see what their idea might be to have slide close evenly..........BUT think I better call MonacoRV Techs in Coburg OR for their OPINION !!!
