Doesn't surprise me.
You've referenced RV's between 25 and 30 feet, maybe a wider range than that. What do you need/want/can work with? We liked a LOT about our 24-footer. Sleeping was overhead or jackknife sofa. We went overhead and had a residential queen mattress up there. Few times we had a visitor s/he could use the jackknife. Then what I'll call a snack area. Two small upholstered chairs and a folding table. Decent kitchen area and bath, plus it had a pantry. We got out of it because of the risk of slips and falls on the 5-ft ladder it took to get to the overhead.
We don't "enjoy" our 31-footer any more than the 24, but we are a little more comfortable with the walkaround queen bed. We were looking at another Jayco, a 28G, and it was promising. The 31A we bought was less expensive, and has something we didn't think to be important: a pedestal-mounted "easy chair." Most don't and we use it all the time.Walkaround queen bed was important to us
when we got out of the 24. So I'd like the Redhawk 22C over the 22A with the corner bed.You must figure out if a coach will allow the activity flow you like.
X2
Do look into the coaches with the queen walk around bed. It IS a big difference. the corner beds in the 24 ft are a real pain to make and when the person on the far side needs to get up and out of the bed!
Also the open bathroom floor plan with the 3 sided glass shower with skylight is priceless if you are over 5ft tall!!!! :C
