The ceiling vents in our Monaco are a double H with both AC's providing air to the 2 ducts that run the length of the coach.
If we leave the main vent in either or each A/C unit open, we get a lot of air and a lot of noise.
Close the main vent air is forced thru the ducting. This reduces the air flow, but vastly reduces the noise.
If we want to cool down the coach fast, we turn on both ac's and open the main vents.
If we want to sleep in the quiet, we turn on the front ac only, and close the main vent. this forces the cool air into the ducts, and plenty makes it back to the bedroom.
This arrangement is of course infinitely adjustable.
When watching movies up front, using only the rear air along with the roof ducts works good too.
