- I have two somewhat heavy chairs for the dining table which are on carpet and are not secured in any way, but they stay in place just fine. I also have 2 padded folding chairs which match and are stored under the bed.

- ArchHoaglandExplorerWe have two free standing chairs and they haven't moved in 14 years and three panic stops where the ABS activated.
- DSDP_DonExplorerON our previous coach, we could turn them facing the sidewall and they never moved in 80K miles. Our new coach, the passage way is narrow when closed and the chairs need to stay in their normal position. We found they occasionally tipped over to one side, the only way they could go.
I took two suction cups, the type with a lever, and added a strap to both. The strap wraps around the chair and is connected to the suction cup. When we arrive at our campsite, I just undo the suction cups and place them in the cabinet. - Tom_BarbExplorer
