OP, you might want to read a previous post by Fire UP as it has some good advice BUT it also says:
I can tell you right now I calculated it all out and I was close but, I'm still a tad over weight on the rear axle. Now, my rig, as stated is an '04 and there is no warranty on it what so ever. So, what ever I do to it and, there's consequences of my actions, I HAVE TO FIX, not Itasca/Winnebago. But, based on my experiences with frames, suspension, air bags, brakes, and much more, I live with the "over weight issue". The rig handles like a dream. There is no ill handling effects what so ever.
OP, not sure how much a tad is but he only has two slides and only 36' so I'm sure his advice applies to your three slide 40' rig too.:S
Scott, how about posting your axle weights as "I weighed it again with the Wing on the lift and I added A LOT more than 1150 lbs." and what is your rear axle rating as I would like to know how much a tad is?
