If you're a beach lover, the 4x4 motorhome is THE BEST option! I converted my 28' Class C 14 years ago and have put 80,000 miles going to the Outer Banks surf fishing and the WV camping along creeks. Quigley did my conversion and has been flawless. Have crossed creeks and been on very soft sand and even washover from storms at shoreline and always made it out. The extra long wheelbase is an advantage on soft sand and I added a 2" spacer between the rear tires to avoid rubbing when airing down to 20psi. I would highly recommend this style of RVing and yes, few have done it but most really want what I have when I'm enjoying the beach with all the comforts of home. Wish I knew how to post a pic on this site, but just never seems to work for me.
