Agreed.
We have a 40' MH and a 33' TT. I would MUCH rather drive the MH than pull the TT.
A few years ago we somehow ended up driving our MH through downtown Washington DC. While I wouldn't recommend it, and I never plan on doing it again - EVER!, it was doable.
As far as the 2 choices the OP asked about, I'd skip both of those. When you need to build the wet bath to use it all the fun is gone.
