I started my RVing in 20', 5000lb ClassC motorhome and having several on the way, ended up in 40' conversion with 30,000lb.
Living in Bay Area I had to deal with some traffic this way or the other and the best coach to drive in traffic turned out the 40' beast, that regardless 15 tons of weight can stop on a dime.
That is why I am strong believer in conversions.
Did own couple of coaches build over commercial Gillig chassis and even with those breaking was like "let's push the brake pedal and see what happens"
Acceleration is nice, but if you are not confident in your brakes, you will not be happy in traffic.
