I go along with Gjac.
Remove the burner tube, remove the orifice from the gas valve. Use correct size wrench so you do not damage it. Soak it in alcohol while you clean the burner tube interior. After soaking the burner tube for maybe 15-30 minutes blow it out with canned compressed air. No to use any probes, toothpicks or pins on the orifice opening. It is very small and can be damaged.
Re-install orifice and burner tube. You will need to adjust the air baffle when you are done.
