Hello, new member, first post.
I seem to be experiencing a similar problem, but wanted to run the scenario by you guys. My furnace randomly stopped working the other morning. I put a voltmeter on the thermostat and there's plenty of power. I removed the vent and cover from the furnace and poked around. On a whim, i flipped on the furnace at the thermostat and it started running. I cycled it several times, and no issues. After putting everything back together i tested it again and it wouldn't work. So, I removed the cover again, and sure enough, it fired back up without issue.
Just wondering if this scenario might be indicative of the problem with my furnace.
That just about exactly describes what I was seeing with our Suburban furnace (see above).
I installed a new Dinosaur control board in it myself and that seems to have fixed it. The board was around $100-$110.
These boards are high quality, they're made in Oregon, and the folks there are very helpful on what board to buy for your situation: http://www.dinosaurelectronics.com/
