I find it pretty interesting that most folks come up with a pretty similar answer to this oft-asked question.
My 2003 Winnie Journey (CAT C-7 at 330hp) ran best right at 63. Above that, mileage dropped significantly, noise increased, and road wobble began.
My friend with a Beaver Patriot Thunder, 500hp, claimed no performance drop until 75. Perhaps he was right. But he paid a lot more than I did!
